The recipients of the God’s Grace Program are joined by the committee, benefactors, and prominent attendees.

On April 24, 2024, the Gods Grace Program hosted its annual fine dining lunch at the esteemed Jardin Mediterranean Cuisine. This exclusive event was carefully planned to provide working students with an unforgettable dining experience that went beyond mere food consumption.

As the clock struck noon, the program’s recipients, committee members, and generous donors congregated outside the university’s administrative building. University vehicles awaited to chauffeur them to the event venue, where a symphony of flavors and fellowship awaited.

Upon arrival, participants were brought to a perfectly set long table, with chairs deliberately positioned to foster discussion and companionship. It was an environment of warmth and conviviality.

The gathering began with Rev. Cris Amorsolo V. Sian, Senior Pastor of the CPU University Church, asking for blessings for the repast, striking a tone of appreciation and reverence. Then, like a choreographed dance, the food courses were served, each meticulously meant to tantalize the senses and satiate one’s appetite.

The gastronomic experience began with an exquisite appetizer, followed by a delicious main course, and ended with a delectable dessert, all of which were perfectly complemented with refreshing lemonade and crisp water. The chefs’ gourmet symphony evoked murmurs of approval and contented sighs from the gathering diners.

Throughout the gathering, the attentive restaurant staff dealt with all needs with elegance and courtesy, improving the overall experience for everyone in attendance. Distinguished attendees included Dr. Teodoro C. Robles, former university president, and Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, CPU president, whose participation contributed to the event’s significance.

As the day unfolded, laughter blended with the clinking of cutlery and the hum of active conversation, weaving a tapestry of shared memories and treasured experiences. This fine dining lunch event was a transformative experience for all recipients—an opportunity to savor the richness of community, generosity, and the immeasurable grace that binds them together.

As the event concluded, hearts were full and spirits lifted, leaving an unforgettable mark on the souls of everyone who was blessed with the opportunity to attend. The Gods Grace Program’s annual fine dining lunch has once again proven to be a beacon of light, blazing the route to a future filled with compassion, connection, and the everlasting spirit of giving.
