Come join us as we light up the night and celebrate the magic of the Festival of Lights this upcoming December 6, 2024!
The much-anticipated Festival of Lights at Central Philippine University (CPU) will kick off on December 6, 2024, that will take place at the CPU Grandstand.
The Festival of Lights has become one of the CPU’s signature events, symbolizing the diverse and inclusive spirit of the Centralian community. Organized by Central Philippine University Alumni Association, Inc. (CPUAAI) in collaboration with Central Philippine University (CPU), this celebration will have vibrant installations, festive performances, and interactive exhibits that will transform the campus into a glowing wonderland.
“We are excited to experience again the joy and warmth of the Festival of Lights for this year,” said Tina Hortelano, CPUAAI Liaison Officer. “It’s a great opportunity for us all to connect with one another, celebrate our differences, and reflect on the positive energy that light brings into our lives.”
After the switching of lights, the induction of newly-elected CPUAAI officers for 2025-2026 and CPUAAI Board of Trustees for 2025-2027 will take place at the Educational Media Center (EMC) Conference Room.
“We’re inviting you to experience the joy and wonder of the Festival of Lights with us,” Hortelano added. “A time to celebrate together, and we are excited to welcome everybody for making unforgettable memories.”
The lights will be open from December 6, 2024, to January 6, 2025. Attendees are encouraged to check for more updates: further details about the event will be posted on CPU’s official website and Facebook page.
