In an inspiring display of community engagement, the College of Nursing at Central Philippine University (CPU) organized a charity run on May 1, 2024, to support vital community health initiatives. Participants from across the campus and beyond gathered for this meaningful event, which aimed to raise awareness and funds for essential healthcare services.

The charity run showcased the College of Nursing’s commitment to promoting health and wellness within the community while fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among participants. Runners of all ages and backgrounds took to the streets, demonstrating their dedication to making a positive impact on public health.

With each step, participants contributed to the success of the event, which featured various distance categories to accommodate runners of different fitness levels. From seasoned athletes to first-time runners, all were united in their shared goal of supporting community health initiatives.

The success of the charity run would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of CPU’s College of Nursing. Their dedication to serving the community and promoting the well-being of others served as the driving force behind this impactful event.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to all the sponsors whose generous contributions played a crucial role in making the charity run a resounding success. Their support enabled the College of Nursing to advance its mission of providing quality healthcare services to those in need.

As the echoes of the charity run fade, the spirit of compassion and solidarity continues to resonate within the CPU community. Participants and organizers alike look forward to future events that will further support community health initiatives and strengthen bonds within the College of Nursing.
