Dr. Florentino P. Alerta II, CPUAAI President explains an issue during the new episode of Looking Forward- with Host Cyrus A. Natividad.
It has been about two years since we said goodbye to our “Looking Forward” weekly public affairs program on CPU TV Facebook Channel Live (due to the Covid-19 pandemic). God is good; He reminded us that this talk show is needed, for viewers to be abreast with information and events in CPU, our alumni here and abroad and developments in the academe.
We encouraged student participation; sharing news on their scholastic, social activities, and community involvements then. We interviewed guests and even government oficials. Having Deans and Department Heads interviewed in the studio was enough to make us decide to bring back Looking Forward for CPU.
Now, this year’s Festival of Lights 2022 has inspired us to realize the return of Looking Forward. Thanks to Rev. Francis Neil G. Jalando-on the inspiring Director of the CPU Office of Communications for his encouragement, with his very supportive personnel at the CPU TV, led by creative director Nestle Taala.
Before the Switching-On of lights on Wednesday, December 7, at 1:30 PM, the CPU TV Studio was actively preparing for the new episode with the CPU Alumni Association President Dr. Florentino P. Alerta. He said, “ If there’s something to look forward to in 2023, this is it.”
We will do our best to improve our services and hopefully expand our scope of production next year. As we look forward to the future, we shall continue on with faith in our hearts, understanding and support to our beloved Central, the students and alumni.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to everyone! God bless.
