CPU Tumandok Dance Company and Excel Choral gather for a photo opportunity at the 36th Philippine Agricultural Engineering Week and 74th PSABE Annual National Convention in Iloilo City from April 20-25, 2025.
The Central Philippine University Tumandok Dance Company and the CPU Excel Choral participated in the 36th Philippine Agricultural Engineering Week, 21st International Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Conference, and the 74th PSABE Annual National Convention held at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City from April 20-25, 2025.
On Day 1 of the convention, notable attendees included Hon. Arthur R. Defensor Jr., Governor of Iloilo Province; Engr. Janice P. Vargas, PSABE President; Engr. Melvin T. Abanado, PSABE President for Region VI; and other local, national, and international officials.
Messages of support were shared through a video presentation by CPU President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, along with representatives from DARFO NCR, DARFO VI, the Professional Regulation Commission Chairperson, and the Governor of Iloilo Province.
The CPU Excel Choral led the opening prayer and the national anthem, accompanied by their adviser and conductor, Ms. Crista S. Huyong, Director of the CPU Cultural Affairs Office. The CPU Tumandok Dance Company performed the “Iloilo ang Banwa Ko” dance rendition, followed by their intermission number featuring the “Pamaypay ni Maria Clara.”
The event was attended by over 900 participants from across the Philippines and international delegations.
