Students attended the virtual CPUR Press Release.

The CPU Republic April Press Conference hosted by CPUR Prime Minister, Danz Rasheed Reynald P. Quimba was held last April 6, 2022 via Zoom Meeting and Facebook live through CPUR’s official Facebook page. This is to update the students of the following projects and events that are currently happening in the university as well as to address questions and concerns laid down to them.

The conference started with a prayer led by the Deputy Minister for Government Units, Kriss Kringle Inge C. Bancolo.

Prime Minister Quimba then began to present the agendas starting with the Central Compost Project by the CPU Republic headed by the College of Agriculture, Resources and Environmental Sciences Representative, Ricardo H. Sumpay and its members; College of Medical Laboratory Science Representative, Francheska Marie D. Billones; and College of Medicine Representative, Raymund A. Capangyarihan. The project aims to generate products such as vermi-compost and vermi worms.

The next report was regarding the CPUR Scholarship which were given to 60 students who were nominated by the Ministry of Work Students and Scholars.

Schedules for the ongoing CPU virtual week was also discussed during the press conference which are participated by the different colleges of the university.

Finally, the most asked question, especially for the the graduating students, was finally addressed which is the possibility of a face-to-face graduation. As pre-advised by the Vice President for Student Affairs, there two plans for the said event. Plan A is a face-to-face graduation given that the alert level will stay consistent until then. But if the alert level goes up again, unfortunately, Plan B will commence which is an online graduation.
