CPU and JBU representatives during the signing of MOU.

CPU and Jeonbuk National University (JBU) formalized their agreement to pursue collaborative projects through the signing of an MOU last Jan 9, 2024 at the CPU Administration Building.

Leading the signing were the three vice presidents of CPU, Dr. Esther Rose A Romarate, Vice President for Student Affairs and the Officer-In-Charge of the Office of the President; Dr. Irving Doming L. Rio, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Florence P. Bogacia, Vice President for Finance and Enterprises. They were also joined by Prof. Kay Arden Gallo, Director of the Local and International Linkages and Affiliations Center and Dr. Bae Joon Soo who signed on-behalf of the President of Jeonbuk National University.

Prior to the signing, a meeting was conducted between CPU and JBU, and students from JBU also enjoyed an afternoon of campus visit with Rev. Francis Neil Jalando-on, Director of the CPU Office of Communications touring them around the university.

JBU adds to the increasing number of CPU’s partner universities in South Korea.
