On February 5, 2024, the CPU Gender and Development (GAD) Committee chaired by Dr. Jelvit Amor Alicante conducted a virtual benchmarking activity with Dr. Marianne Villaruel, Director of the GAD Office of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and her staff.

CPU recognizes TAU’s well-established GAD program, as evidenced by its high ranking in SDG 5 (Gender Equality) in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings.

The benchmarking activity was attended by members of CPU’s GAD Committee. Moving forward, the GAD Committee aims to optimize the university’s GAD programs and initiatives.
