Atty. Noel C. Siosan, Jr., Ll.M. who is currently the Assistant Dean of the CPU College of Law, has been appointed Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor) of the Office of the City Prosecutor, Iloilo City on December 9, 2020.
A true-blue Centralian, Atty. Siosan, Jr. completed his basic education schooling (Kindergarten, 1986, Elementary, 1992, and HS, 1996) at Central Philippine University.
He finished his BS in Accountancy degree, cum laude, also from CPU in March 2000. Aside from being a Loyalty Awardee, Atty. Siosan, Jr. was also the recipient of the Alton Bigelow Memorial Award or the Alma Mater Prize in 2000. The Alton Bigelow Memorial Award is the highest award given to a CPU college graduate who best exemplifies the ideals of the University in Christian character, scholarship, and co-curricular activities. In August 2017, he earned his Master of Laws from San Beda College.
For someone who once desired to pursue a medical career, Atty. Siosan, Jr. is fulfilling the dreams of his mother and grandfather by being a practicing CPA-Lawyer. Even with this additional feather in his cap, he plans to continue teaching at the CPU College of Business and Accountancy and the CPU College of Law so he “can encourage more students to become Certified Public Accountants and Lawyers.” He credits his success to his parents, Noel J. Siosan, Sr. who passed away last year, and Elpha C. Siosan, (CPU BSC 1974) who served as University Treasurer until her retirement, his sister Dephane S. Crespo (CPU BSN, 1998) who is a registered nurse in the United Kingdom, and most importantly, to the Lord Almighty.
