The awardees of the College of Engineering together with CPU administrators.
On February 14, 2024, in the middle of Valentines Day, the College of Engineering held the annual Incentive and Professorial Chair Awards Ceremony for SY 2022-2023. This event gives honor to the unwavering efforts of the faculty and staff in maintaining the excellent standards of the university.
Fifteen outstanding individuals were awarded this year. The Laboratory Staff Incentive Award was given to Manuel S. Calinao, Jr., Freyah Grace B. Salazar, Kammhel Joy A. Lavandeja, Ralph S. Trojilo, and Wilfredo G. Pañares. Meanwhile, the Faculty Incentive Award was given to the following: Mr. Ron Adrian A. Dionaldo, for receiving the highest student evaluation for SY 2021-2022, Engrs. Ysesil Sacramento, Juicy Valdueza, Baby Lou Nava, Gelvie Lagos and Vitini Edhard Idemne.
The Professorial Chair was also awarded to the following: Engr. Christsam Joy Jaspe – Santander as the Dr. Alfonso Uy Professorial Chair Awardee, Engr. Mary Earl Daryl Grio as the Dr. James Lester Knox Professorial Chair Awardee, Engr. Sharon Rose G. Dumam-ag as the Dean Walden Rio Professorial Chair Awardee and Dr. Dahila H. Pescos as the College of Engineering Professorial Chair Awardee.
This incentive program was initiated by the Resource Generation Committee, Dean Emeritus Walden S. Rio, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Trinidad S. Rio and Engr. Aurora A. Lim.
Also in attendance were CPU President, Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, together with the VP for Finance and Enterprises, Dr. Florence B. Bogacia; VP for Student Affairs, Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate; VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Irving Domingo L. Rio; and VP for Administration, Engr. Dany C. Molina, who also the former Dean of the College of Engineering.
