On Monday afternoon of October 19, 2020, Centralians in Mass Media (CMM) President Rufino “Pinoy” Gonzales and former CPU Communications Director Jason ‘Jing’ Pagunsan were at the CPU Office of Communications to initially propose the possibility to tie up with CPU TV on a program to support the University and the CPU Alumni Association. The Centralians in Mass Media, whose members are active communications practitioners, is one of the functional special chapters of the CPU Alumni Association.

The University, by the approval of the CPU Board of Trustees, recently reinstalled its Cable TV airing on SKY’s Channel 31. It is being managed by the CPU Office of Communications. This development moved Gonzales to propose a program segment on the new CATV channel as well as the CPUTV Facebook page. “This program will promote linkage and provide updates from CPU to Centralians worldwide and back,” he said.

The agreements, facility, and details of the program are still being discussed by the members of the Centralians in Mass Media. This will soon be proposed to University President Dr. Teodoro C. Robles.
