The date is officially set for the Miss Universe Philippines Search on May 13, 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

A 26 year-old Centralian beauty, Vanessa Tse Weng is among 40 contestants in the final search. Tse Weng is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Central Philippine University (Magna Cum Laude) Batch 2015-2016. She is also a Master’s Degree holder in Urban Planning.

Tse Weng has once represented the CPU College of Agriculture, Resources and Environmental Sciences (CARES) in a Miss CPU Beauty pageant during her college days. She is currently a consultant for the Department of Agriculture and a part-time instructor at Central Philippine University.

2023 promises to put Guimaras Island in the limelight when Vanessa Tse Wing resolved to bring pride to the island province as an Official Candidate of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Tse Weng traces her roots in Buenavista, Guimaras where the relatives of her mother resides.

The delegates are now undergoing several pre-pageant challenges. The Guimarasnon candidate had said that, “I would like to do something greater than myself.”
