The Central Philippine University (CPU) College of Medicine has once again proven its dedication to advancing medical knowledge and innovation by securing top positions in the recent 12th APMC-SN Visayas Regional Medical Research Assembly 2024.

Held on April 4, 2024, the event showcased the outstanding achievements of medical students from various institutions across the Visayas region. CPU College of Medicine emerged as a frontrunner, claiming five spots in the highly competitive Top 5 entries across different categories.

The Regional Medical Research Competition serves as a platform for aspiring medical researchers to showcase their groundbreaking discoveries and advancements that are shaping the future of medicine. This year’s event highlighted the pivotal role of research in guiding humanity towards progress and innovation.

“We are thrilled to present the outstanding Top 5 entries from the different categories of the Visayas region for this year’s Regional Medical Student Research Competition,” expressed the organizers of the event.

The event took place at the University of the Visayas—Gullas College of Medicine, where participants and attendees gathered to witness the unveiling of remarkable contributions from aspiring researchers. From 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM, the audience was treated to presentations that showcased the ingenuity and dedication of medical students in tackling various medical challenges.
