Central Philippine University invite all deans, unit heads, faculty members, and researchers to participate in RESONATE 2026: CPU Research and Innovation Week, happening on April 14–17, 2026, showcasing the university’s research and innovation initiatives.

Central Philippine University (CPU) through the Office of the Vice President for Research, Development and Extension (OVPRDE) led by Acting Vice President Dr. Aries Roda D. Romallosa, will host RESONATE 2026: CPU Research and Innovation Week from April 14 to 17, 2026. The said event will highlight the institution’s continuing commitment to advancing research excellence, innovation, and academic collaboration across disciplines.

Anchored on the 23rd Faculty Research Symposium and the 20th Student Research Symposium, RESONATE 2026 serves as a university-wide platform showcasing completed and ongoing research initiatives, including faculty- and student-led studies, URC-funded projects, and externally supported research endeavors.

A series of activities will be held across various campus venues throughout the week. On April 14, the program will open with the RESONATE 2026 exhibits, opening ceremony, 23rd Faculty Research Symposium, and Technopreneurship Demo Day. April 15 will focus on Research Ethics Integrity Day, the Introduction to Engineering Design Exhibits and Competition, and the Research Poster Competition.

On April 16, the 20th Student Research Symposium will take center stage, featuring presentations under the Food, Environment and Resources; Advanced Technologies; Institutional Management, Business and Tourism; Health and Allied Sciences; and other categories. The day will also include the CRACK IT Reverse Pitching and Hackathon sessions. The event will conclude on April 17 with the CRACK IT Final Pitching and the awarding and closing ceremony at the Educational Media Center.

Through RESONATE 2026, CPU reinforces its commitment to fostering a strong research culture and promoting innovation-driven academic engagement across the university community.
