Central Philippine University (CPU) has once again brought pride and honor to the Centralian community after emerging as the Top 1 Performing School nationwide in the March 2026 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination.
Under the category of schools with 20–99 examinees and at least a 90% passing rate, CPU recorded an outstanding 96.97% passing percentage, with 32 out of 33 Centralian examinees successfully passing the exam.
This accomplishment reflects the University’s commitment to academic excellence in engineering education. This milestone is a testament to the dedication, discipline, and hard work of the examinees, as well as the guidance and support of the faculty members of the Electronics Engineering program. The collective efforts have positioned CPU as a leading institution in producing competent and globally competitive professionals.
The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VI (CHEDRO 6) also extended its congratulations, expressing pride in CPU’s achievement and recognizing it as a reflection of the region’s quality education.
By upholding its tradition of excellence, CPU further solidifies its reputation in engineering and technology through this remarkable achievement.
