Participants of “Arena of Warriors: Esports 2026” gather for a photo opportunity at MT AVR 1.
The College of Computer Studies (CCS) Provincial Council, in partnership with Ube Esports, conducted “Arena of Warriors: Esports 2026” from February 11 to 14, with its grand finals held on February 21, 2026.
The tournament took place at AVR 1 and AVR 2, while the Coldzone served as the main venue for Valorant matches. The event gathered student gamers from the college to compete in various esports titles.
Featured games included Valorant, Call of Duty Mobile (CODM), Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and Tekken, allowing participants to showcase both individual skills and team coordination.
The event was led by Board Member Francyn Isabella Pe, who served as chairperson, overseeing the overall coordination of the tournament. She was assisted by Board Member Kyla Faith Jacildo, vice chairperson, who handled event logistics and preparations.
Through their leadership, the council organized the competition to provide students with a platform to demonstrate their skills and engage in esports within the campus.
Several participants emerged as champions in their respective categories. In Tekken, Nathan Zech Pugales claimed the championship title.
In team competitions, MIDAS Team A won in Call of Duty Mobile, while the Computer Science Society (CSS) secured multiple titles. CSS Team B emerged as champions in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and CSS Team A won the Valorant tournament.
The event highlighted the growing interest in e-sports among CCS students and provided an opportunity for them to compete in an organized and competitive environment. The tournament reinforced esports as a platform for discipline, teamwork, and excellence, reflecting potential of the e-sports community in CPU.
