CCS student leaders unite at the CPU Alumni Promenade for Warrior’s Pulse, strengthening leadership and teamwork among organizations.

The College of Computer Studies (CCS) Provincial Council conducted “Warrior’s Pulse” Leadership Training and Team Building on March 7 to 8, 2026. This 2-day program aims to strengthen the leadership and skills of the student leaders.

The two-day activity gathered representatives from CCS academic organizations, including the Modern Interactive Digital Artist Society (MIDAS), Computer Science Society (CSS), Information Technology Student Organization (ITSO), and Library and Information Science Student Organization (LISSO). The initiative was spearheaded by Governor Jesse Jot P. Auman.

The first day focused on leadership and technical skills development. The morning sessions featured a public speaking seminar titled “From Leader to Speaker” led by Ms. Abegail Mandar, Secretary General of the Dr. Rex D. Drilon Debate Society. This was followed by a session on “Write Right: Resolution and Technical Writing” conducted by Emman Rey Saquibal, former CPUR Prime Minister of the 19th Parliament.

In the afternoon, discussions shifted to organizational management and processes. Matthew Dave Nalangay, former College of Arts and Science Governor, led a session on event liquidation and financial transparency. This was followed by a discussion on the university’s Permit to Proceed process facilitated by CPUR President Jellian Precious Ganda.

The day concluded with a fellowship and boodle fight dinner at the Gonzaga Residence, allowing participants to build connections outside a formal setting.

On the second day, the participants took part in team building activities facilitated by the Samahan ng Bagong Kabataan. The activities focused on strengthening teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills among the different organizations.

The two-day leadership seminar helped the student leaders of CCS to develop both technical and interpersonal skills, preparing them for their roles in their organizations. “Warrior’s Pulse” is a leadership training that strengthened unity among CCS leaders and strengthened their commitment to lead effectively and work in harmony.
