Curious onlookers tour the various student organization booths at the Annual SDP Exhibit & Evaluation held at Promenade & alongside Uy Building last March 31, 2026.

“Beyond accolades and recognition, what core value best reflects your commitment to greater service?” This was the challenge posed by Pastor Alfred “Palf” C. Morales, Director of the Student Development and Programs (SDP) Office, to the university’s student organizations during the SDP Student Orgs Annual Evaluation & Exhibit. Held at the Alumni Promenade and Concert Park (APCP) on March 31, 2026, the event transformed the campus heart into a vibrant display of Centralian community life.

From academic and special orgs to sports, cultural, and arts organizations, the booth exhibitions showcased a year’s worth of advocacies, awards, and activities. Notably, each organization tied its initiatives to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), pushing the limits of their creativity to represent their missions both aesthetically and meaningfully.

The morning program, hosted by Leandrae Edirann Molo Agagas (BS-Psychology 3), featured a message from Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, Vice President for Student Affairs, on behalf of the University President. Following the remarks, Pastor Palf introduced the esteemed board of judges: Pastor Justine Palmes-Mije, Mrs. Eddannee Somes-Debuque, and Mrs. Rouella Cheyene Ceasico-Aberia.

Organizations creatively showcased their accomplishments through vibrant infographics, unique design, and portfolio.

To officially commence the program,  the ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Dr. Romarate, Dr. Florence P. Bogacia (VP for Finance and Enterprises), and Pastor Palf, alongside the officers of the participating organizations and curious Centralians. Afterwards, the judges conducted intermittent visits to the booths to engage with the student leaders.

One of the participants, Emmerson Suan, President of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), expressed his gratitude for the university-wide recognition. He noted that the exhibit provided a crucial platform to share their milestones, recalling how their officers successfully navigated the rigors of balancing intense academics with the demands of student leadership.

As the event concluded, the exhibit stood as more than just a display of trophies and aesthetic booths; it was a testament to the enduring spirit of the Centralian community where leadership is inherently tied to service.

Recounting Pastor Morales’ challenge, the true success of these organizations is measured not by the awards collected, but by the lives touched and the sustainable changes initiated throughout the year. For the student leaders of Batch 2025-2026, the Annual Evaluation was not merely an end to their term, but a milestone in a lifelong journey of excellence and faith.
