Professor Praise E. Glory, MEd, Principal of CPU-Kindergarten, led the launch of the book titled “You and I Can Help,” which provides an overview of how the department’s approach aligns with various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On October 27, 2024, the CPU-Kindergarten Department launched a new program demonstrating its commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Held at the Rose Memorial Auditorium, the event was a highlight of the Parents’ General Assembly, emphasizing the department’s dedication to fostering positive change and global sustainability.

The said launching was led by Prof. Praise E. Glory, Med, CPU-Kindergarten Principal, wherein she presented an educational publication, titled “You and I Can Help,” featuring contributions from both students and teachers. It primarily showcases the overview of how the department’s approach aligns with the different SDGs.

“Together, we’ll explore fun activities, engage in creative challenges, and learn how we can make a positive impact on our world—all while building strong family bonds! Get ready for a journey filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories,” the CPU-Kindergarten stated on its official Facebook page.

The book is illustrated and contains educational initiatives, inspiring real stories, and practice activities by the department. The above highlighted endeavors include, but are not limited to, typhoon victims’ donation drive, important health-related discussions to enlighten families, and engaging health-related activities aimed at encouraging healthy food options. Field trips to the local museums, joint astronomy classes with another school, learning about traditions of other countries, promoting consumable consumption, and supporting children’s spiritual development are also within the expertise of the book. Such activities clearly demonstrate that the department is committed to delivering all round education as well as engagement of the communities.

Through this collaboration, we recognize the call to be good stewards of God’s creation and to guide our children in living with compassion, justice, and care for the earth.”
