Central Philippine University (CPU) concluded its week-long University Week 2025 celebration with a vibrant and inspiring awarding ceremony held on October 29, 2025, at the Alumni Promenade Concert Park. The event gathered students, faculty, and staff to honor outstanding achievements in academic, athletic, and cultural competitions that highlighted the Centralian spirit of excellence and camaraderie.
The program began with the singing of the National Anthem and Alma Mater Song, followed by an opening prayer led by John Rafael Buyco, CPU Republic (CPUR) staff. Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, Vice President for Student Affairs, delivered the opening remarks, commending the participants for their enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the week-long festivities.
Intermission performances added color and excitement to the program, including a vocal duet by the College of Medical Laboratory Science (CMLS), which won second place in the UWCFl, and an energetic routine by the Senior High School (SHS) Hiphop Champions. Jaylord Lampa, CPUR Prime Minister, also delivered an inspiring message celebrating the creativity and unity demonstrated by Centralians.
In her speech as overall champion representative, Sophia Teñoso, Junior High School (JHS) Governor, expressed gratitude on behalf of her team and shared how collaboration and perseverance led to their victory.

Throughout the celebration, Centralians competed in a diverse range of events, including Poetry Choir, Folk Dance, HipHop, Chorale, Street Dance, Centralian Star, Foot Parade, Vocal Solo and Duet, Binalaybay, English Oration, Declamation, Character Impersonation, Extemporaneous Speaking, Debate, Centralian Know Central, General Information Quiz Bee, UNESCO Quiz Bee, Math Quiz Bee, Science Quiz Bee, Bible Quiz Bee, and various sports and e-sports events such as basketball, chess, volleyball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, football, billiards, Ultimate Mixed Frisbee, Aquathlon, Valorant, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).
After an intense week of competition, the Junior High School (JHS) emerged as the overall champion, dominating both cultural and sports categories.

- Champion: Junior High School (JHS)
- 1st Runner-Up: College of Business and Accountancy (CBA)
- 2nd Runner-Up: Senior High School (SHS)
- 3rd Runner-Up: College of Nursing (CON)
- 4th Runner-Up: College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)

During the awarding ceremony, the winners received medals, certificates, and trophies in recognition of their achievements. The event showcased CPU’s diverse pool of talent, with participants excelling in performing arts, academics, and sports competitions.
