According to Jalando-on, the three-day conference featured a total of seven sessions, each designed to challenge and inspire participants through a variety of activities. Girl Scouts from across the Visayas region gather at the RSCC 2025 conference in Cebu, empowering young women to become leaders and changemakers for a sustainable future. The event features interactive sessions, cultural immersion, and team-building activities, fostering personal growth and community engagement.
“As one of the planning team members, the most meaningful part of the conference for me was seeing everything come together and knowing that the participants enjoyed themselves with the activities we prepared,” Jalando-on shared.
One of the most memorable sessions, Session 5: Outdoor Challenge, took participants on a journey through Cebu’s famous tourist destinations. Here, they engaged in interactive challenges such as interviewing tourists and vendors, immersing themselves in local culture, and gaining a deeper appreciation of Cebu’s rich history.
Jalando-on emphasized the importance of participating in gatherings like RSCC, as they provide opportunities for personal growth and leadership development. “It’s gatherings like these that help change a person in their becoming—helping them to discover their fullest potential and realize the strength that they hold.”
The conference underscored the impact of the Girl Scouting movement in shaping young leaders, reinforcing the value of community engagement, and cultivating a greater understanding of local heritage. Through activities like RSCC 2025, CPU students continue to develop into proactive and visionary leaders for sustainable change.
