Unit Heads of Central Philippine University pose for a photo opportunity following the successful seminar on Stress Management in the Workplace, held at Bien Hall, Sam’s 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, on April 3, 2025.

The Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC), in partnership with the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO), successfully held a seminar-workshop about “Stress Management in the Workplace” on April 3, 2025, at Bien Hall, Sam’s 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The event gathered attendees from Unit Heads of Central Philippine University, who engaged in insightful discussions and hands-on activities designed to address workplace stress and foster overall well-being.

“This initiative reflects the continued commitment to supporting employee wellness and building a healthier work environment,” Pinky E. Lutero-Tongol, Secretary of Review, Continuing Education and Consultancy Center (RCECC) shared.

The seminar featured Prof. Maria Elena Beatriz Legarda Santos-Florete, a part-time faculty member of the College of Education – Early Childhood Education. In her speech, Prof. Santos-Florete shared practical strategies and valuable insights on how to manage stress effectively in professional environments. Her session emphasized the significance of self-awareness in identifying the sources of stress and the development of coping strategies tailored to individual needs. Additionally, she encouraged participants to foster positive work relationships, establish boundaries, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

This event underscores the commitment of RCECC and HRD to enhance employee wellness and contribute to building a healthier and more productive work environment. Through such initiatives, Central Philippine University (CPU) aims to support the mental well-being of employees, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools to thrive in both their professional and personal lives.
