PROJECT ETC team alongside with learners and teachers of Tapikan Elementary School gather for a photo opportunity.
During the months of September and October, Project ETC has diligently engaged in delivering food and school supplies to the students of Tapikan Elementary School in San Joaquin, Iloilo, as well as Zaragosa Elementary School in Balasan, Iloilo.
These impactful distributions were spearheaded by Ms. Joan S. Castor, the logistics coordinator for Project ETC, alongside the dedicated group of volunteer students from the CPU College of Hospitality Management. Their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm played a crucial role in carefully packing and repacking the goods, ensuring that the needs of the schools were met.
With these distribution events, the generosity of the donors has had a profound effect on the schools. Mr. Loy, Mrs. Ann Seisa, and their children, Tristan and Andrea, provided the feeding supplies, creating a wave of gratitude among students, teachers, and parents alike. The heartfelt appreciation from the recipients highlights the significance of these contributions, particularly in fostering a supportive and nurturing educational environment.
Additionally, the schools express their deep gratitude to the CPU Community Engagement and Service-Learning Center team, which has shown commitment and support. This unit is under the direction of Assistant Professor Sarex Dalida Dipol, Jr., whose work is a part of the project’s success. Equally, the efforts of Mr. Nico Catedrilla and the entire Project ETC team’s dedication and hard work have been very instrumental to the success of the deliveries.
PROJECT ETC continues to partner with CPU in these heartwarming endeavors and plans to move forward with distribution projects in the upcoming months.
