ETHICS for Event Success: Mrs. Marie Faye Mondeja-Moleño shares her expertise at Project EMS.
An important milestone was achieved under the “Athaganay Act 2024: Better and Stronger Kind of Governance” last July 27, 2024. The Project EMS (Events Management System) was unveiled, marking a significant step toward improving the capabilities of local government units (LGUs) in organizing events and programs more effectively. Events management, a multifaceted discipline, requires meticulous planning, seamless implementation, and thorough evaluation, making it essential for LGUs to develop proficient skills in this field. This crucial initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of local government units (LGUs) in effectively organizing events and programs.
Project EMS was graced by an experienced Wedding Planner, Mrs. Marie Faye Mondeja-Moleño owner of the Faybe Weddings and Events. Mrs. Faye shared her experiences, life lessons and passion towards her chosen field. She highlighted the importance of ETHICS: Excellence, Teamwork, Honesty, Integrity, Commitment and Sincerity. By putting your heart into what you do can lead to a successful event.
This initiative ensures that LGUs are well-equipped to handle the annual events organized for students and other community activities. By acquiring advanced skills in planning, execution, and evaluation, LGUs can guarantee the successful delivery of these events, thereby fostering a sense of community and trust among their constituents. Moreover, the training promotes efficiency and professionalism, reflecting positively on the local government and its efforts to improve governance.
The implementation of Project EMS not only ensures the effective and professional execution of events but also contributes to the overall development and progress of local communities. This project stands as a testament to the commitment to better governance and the continuous improvement of public service delivery.
