Future Integrated School warmly welcomes preservice teachers Hannah Arana (BSNED) and Christian Mark Fenequito (BSED-Science) for their SEAMEO SEA-Teacher Program internship.
On March 9, 2026, Future Integrated School (FIS), through CPU College of Education’s partner university, Dong Thap University (DTHU), Vietnam, welcomed two outbound preservice teachers for their one-month internship under the SEA-Teacher Program of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO). FIS serves as DTHU’s partner institution where it implements its international internship program, deploying 29 preservice teachers from the Philippines and Thailand this semester.
During the welcoming ceremony, Hannah Arana (BSNED) and Christian Mark Fenequito (BSED-Science), together with their fellow interns, were oriented about the Future Integrated School’s curriculum, which focuses on interactive activities and a hands-on learning environment, and the use of English as the medium of instruction from kindergarten to high school.
Moreover, the English language Education Curriculum of FIS is emphasized as a way to build an international learning environment in Dong Thap. The program is not only an opportunity for preservice teachers to experience a practical teaching environment, but it also opens a space for connection and multicultural learning within the regional educational community.
Before the scheduled date of the welcoming ceremony, the preservice teachers met with the administrators and teachers of Future Integrated School for a school visit and discussion regarding curriculum implementation throughout the upcoming internship journey.
The program hopes to bring many meaningful experiences, contributing to the enhancement of pedagogical capacity and the strengthening of educational connections within the Southeast Asian region.
