CAS, Hatulan Mo! is from May 31 to June 2, 2023.

A two-way street–Through a student satisfaction survey, the CAS Hatulan Mo program encourages students to become aware and responsible about the effectiveness of programs and the leadership abilities of the people running their organization.

Such evaluation surveys for organization officers are crucial since they aid in evaluating the officers’ work and highlighting areas that require improvement. The results of these surveys can be used to improve the officers’ level of service and boost the organization’s overall effectiveness. The surveys can also be used to highlight the accomplishments of officials and acknowledge their value to the organization. This could help increase officers’ motivation and confidence.

According to Kairos Rye Jalando-on, a newly elected 2nd year representative for A.Y. 2023-2024, “CAS, Hatulan Mo! for me is a refreshing program that allows the general student population to evaluate the officers of their respective academic organizations more directly. It serves as a reminder to firstly, the organisational officers that they should not forget their responsibilities and that they should be accountable because their student subordinates are carefully watching and that they are and should be an example to the students with non-officer roles. And secondly, it serves as a reminder to the non-officer students that they also have a responsibility to critique/ensure the responsibilities that their officers are supposed to carry out and that they also hold power, not just the officers. As a newly appointed officer for the CPU Communication Circle, this program is a reminder and an inspiration to go beyond my responsibilities and it is also a way to remind myself that I am now more than accountable for myself and for my course mates in the regards of furthering our organization.”

CAS, Hatulan Mo! is one of several plans the Province of Arts and Sciences Student Council (PASSC) has implemented to maintain standards among students and the organizations which purpose is to identify any gaps or potential development that needs to be considered. The above-mentioned survey was administered through google forms and will be up until June 2, 2023.
