Dr. Florence Bogacia sharing her expertise on budget management and financial processes.
On July 27, 2024, the Pananagban Workshop, under the Athaganay Act 2024, took a significant step toward financial literacy for members of Local Government Units (LGUs), particularly the Minister for Finance. The workshop provides each Governor and Minister for Finance with proper knowledge of the tasks and obligations relating to financial matters under each Provincial Council.
Dr. Florence Bogacia, the Vice President for Finance and Enterprises, delighted the Pananagban Workshop with her depth of financial expertise. She discussed the in-depth procedure of requesting a budget, allocating funds to each provincial council, the types of documents and receipts required for accounting operations, and the liquidation and reimbursement process.
The Pananagban workshop’s implementation not only gives local government units (LGUs) precise knowledge on executions and the function of funds for every provincial council, but it also fosters welfare, demonstrates a commitment to better governance, and continuously improves services delivered to the people.
Understanding financial principles allows a person to make more informed budgeting and money management decisions. This information can lead to improved financial outcomes and allow individuals to achieve more secure and gratifying outcomes while experiencing less stress.
