Central Philippine University welcomed Chinese international students enrolled and will be completing their master’s degree at this university on May 15, 2023, at the CPU Alumni Promenade Concert Park (APCP). This program gathered approximately 160 Chinese participants who enjoyed the company of each other together with the CPU administration, the School of Graduate Studies faculty and staff, and officers from the Local and International Linkages and Affiliation Center (LILAC).
Dr. Rowena M. Libo-on, Dean of the CPU School of Graduate Studies, is happy to have seen face-to-face the said Chinese students and is grateful to the university for conducting the welcome program.

During the event, the Chinese students were given the opportunity to showcase their talent, bringing a hint of Chinese culture while the CPU Dance Company performed folk dances showing the culture of the Philippines.
The program was graced by Dr. Teodoro C. Robles, CPU President; Dr. Irving Doming L. Rio, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Florence P. Bogacia, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, Vice President for Student Affairs; and Prof. Kay Gallo, Acting Director of LILAC. It was hosted by Prof. Rhys Vincent Camacho, Faculty, Department of Languages, Mass Communication, and Humanities (DLMCH).
