An amount of P40,000 pesos was turned over to CPU Republic’s Project Hope on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
The donation, given by an anonymous donor, was sent to the CPU Alumni Association (CPUAAI).
Officers of the CPUAAI, led by President Atty. Joshua Alim, formally turned over the cash donation to CPUR Prime Minister John Erland Pudadera and College of Engineering Representative and CPUR Outreach Committee Head Eleanel Idemne.
Project Hope is a fundraising initiative of the CPU Republic 16th parliament to help students under the Work Study Program who are having difficulty in financing their studies due to the pandemic.
The donations for the project will be used to purchase gadgets and load assistance for work students who will be enrolling for the second semester of this school year.
