CPU hosts Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels, providing accessible essential government services and social security benefits for Centralians.

The Central Philippine University (CPU) successfully hosted the “Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels,” a mobile service initiative by the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), on March 5–6, 2026, at the CPU Alumni Promenade Concert Park, providing accessible essential government services and social security benefits.

Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels provided great opportunities for students to learn more about Pag-IBIG, helping students become more financially informed and prepared for life after graduation. It was a strategic effort to streamline the registration and inquiry process through a mobile service unit. For graduating students, the initiative offered a vital opportunity for professional preparation, facilitating early acquisition of membership and ensuring a seamless transition into the workforce.

By bringing these services directly to campus, the university reinforced its commitment to student welfare and financial literacy through student-friendly, accessible information dissemination. Participants were able to process membership registrations, update existing records, and inquire about various provident and housing programs without the necessity of off-campus travel.

The success of the Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels highlighted CPU’s dedication to equipping its students not only with academic excellence but also with the necessary administrative tools and civic knowledge required for life post-graduation. The high turnout over the two days reflected the community’s proactive approach toward securing their professional and financial standing.
