Our future leaders gathered for an exciting leadership and team-building training program that fostered camaraderie, resilience, and a spirit of excellence on February 8, 2025.

On February 8, 2025, the Warrior’s Pulse Leadership Training Seminar and the team-building activity were more than just an event; they were a transformative experience that empowered CCS student leaders from Central Philippine University (CPU) to rise with purpose, integrity, and vision.

United under one banner, student organizations from CCS, including ITSO, CPU CSS, MIDAS, the Library, the Information Science Student Organization, The Cipher, and the College of the Provincial Council, came together to develop leadership skills that transcend titles and status. With the unwavering support of College Dean Ma. Christina Quijano and CCSPC Council Adviser Rodolfo Eregia, these young leaders embraced the challenge of becoming changemakers in their communities.

The seminar’s highlights included the virtual presentations of Atty. Chel Diokno and Senator Risa Hontiveros, whose inspirational words were rooted in their dedication to justice and social change. Atty. Chel Diokno reminded students that leadership is about standing firm in principles, speaking up for what is right, and challenging the norm. Senator Risa Hontiveros urged students to lead with empathy, compassion, and resilience in order to support the marginalized.

The event was not just about learning; it was about experiencing leadership firsthand.

Public speaking expert Abegail Mandar led the session “Master the Podium, Master the Boardroom,” where students learned how to command a room, speak confidently, and inspire others. SBK Leadership Training Institute facilitated team-building activities that developed collaboration, trust, and adaptability—essential leadership traits.

By the end of the seminar, these student leaders weren’t just inspired; they were ready to act. They left more confident, connected, and determined to create meaningful changes in their organizations and beyond. At CCS, leadership isn’t just about dreaming of change—it is about making it happen.
