Crowned in Confidence: CPU Junior High Celebrates Mr. & Miss Physical Fitness 2025″ As part of the much-anticipated MAPEH Day, CPU Junior High School proudly crowned its Mr. & Miss Physical Fitness 2025, celebrating not only beauty and talent but also the importance of health, fitness, and well-being.

Central Philippine University Junior High School (CPU-JHS) hosted three impactful events on February 17-18, 2025, aimed at promoting discipline, faith, and health among students. Designed to foster personal development and social responsibility, the Anti-Vaping Convocation 2025, Love Convocation, and Mr. & Miss Physical Fitness 2025 provided students with educational discussions, interactive activities, and engaging competitions.

The Anti-Vaping Convocation 2025 was held at Rose Memorial Auditorium on February 17, 2025, emphasizing the dangers of vaping. The program opened with a prayer by Ma. Theresa P. Magbanua, followed by the national anthem performed by Liandra Angeline V. Ang. CPU-JHS Principal Prof. Charlet B. Dianala delivered the opening remarks, setting the stage for a thought-provoking discussion on the negative health effects of vaping. Ma. Theresa P. Magbanua and Roan Victor R. Lacupa led discussions, encouraging students to actively engage in conversations about this pressing issue. The event concluded with closing remarks by Ma. Theresa P. Magbanua, a closing prayer by Izzy Queen L. Zulaybar, and Roan Victor R. Lacupa effectively fulfilling his role as Master of Ceremonies.


Central Philippine University Junior High School students came together for a meaningful celebration of faith and fellowship during the Values Education’s Day.

The Love Convocation followed, beginning with the flag ceremony led by Grade 9 – Banaba. The program featured a welcome address, a special number, and an introduction of the guest speaker. At 9:00 AM, Ptr. Lao delivered an inspiring message on faith and love, followed by an open forum at 10:00 AM, where students were encouraged to ask questions and reflect on the discussion. A Bible quiz at 10:30 AM tested students’ knowledge before the lunch break at 11:45 AM. In the afternoon, faith-based interactive seminars, organized by the Junior High School Council, allowed students to further explore the themes of love and spirituality.

On February 18, 2025, the much-anticipated Mr. & Miss Physical Fitness 2025 took center stage at Rose Memorial Auditorium, highlighting students’ dedication to health, fitness, and advocacy. The event opened with house rules presented by the hosts, followed by an invocation by Eloise Lindsey C. Ticar and the national anthem performed by Chloe Briana G. Nalupano. Prof. Charlet B. Dianala delivered the welcome remarks, setting the tone for an exciting competition. A dynamic production number energized the audience before participants showcased their confidence and skills in different segments, including the Physical/Sports Skill Competition, Casual Wear Competition, and Advocacy Speech Competition.

Adding to the excitement, special intermission performances captivated the audience, featuring talented students and alumni, including Ms. Amabelle Q. Pamocol-Castro, a Regional and National PRISAAP Vocal Solo Pop Grand Champion. The competition concluded with the announcement of Minor and Major Awards, culminating in the crowning of Mr. and Miss Physical Fitness 2025.

The success of these events was made possible through the efforts of Ma. Theresa P. Magbanua, Christian Ace B. Modesto, Justine Kate Fuertes, and others who contributed to the planning and execution of such events. Through these initiatives, CPU-JHS reaffirmed its commitment to holistic education, nurturing students’ intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth. By integrating activities that promote well-being, discipline, and faith, the school continues to shape well-rounded individuals prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
