On February 12, 2025, the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO), in collaboration with the CPU Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC), successfully conducted a seminar focused on “Stress Management in the Workplace.” The seminar took place at Bien Hall, Sam’s 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, and was attended by 100 registered personnels.

The event was graced by Prof. Ma. Elena Beatriz Legarda Santos-Florete, who served as the resource speaker. In her speech, Prof. Santos-Florete offered an insightful discussion on practical strategies for effectively managing stress, improving workplace well-being, and boosting overall productivity. Participants also took part in interactive activities, shared experiences, and engaged in a discourse on valuable coping mechanisms for handling work-related pressures.

“We extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended and actively participated in the seminar. Your enthusiasm and engagement significantly contributed to its success,” said Pinky E. Lutero-Tongol, Secretary of the Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC).

In addition, the event provided a valuable networking opportunity, allowing attendees to exchange ideas, share insights, and discuss best practices aimed at fostering a healthier and more productive work environment. Through these interactions, participants were able to build connections, collaborate on strategies, and gain fresh perspectives that contribute to creating a more supportive and effective workplace culture.

“Let us continue working towards a healthier, more productive, and stress-free workplace,” she added.
