Congratulations CPU Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants for being named overall 1st Runner-Up during the PICPA Week 2025 celebration.
The Central Philippine University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (CPU JPIA) earned significant recognition after being named overall 1st runner-up during the PICPA Week 2025 celebration, a province-wide event organized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Held from November 29 to December 8, 2025, PICPA Week 2025 featured a series of academic, non-academic, and sports competitions conducted across various venues and digital platforms, bringing together JPIA chapters from different institutions in Iloilo.
The JPIA–CPU Chapter demonstrated strong and consistent performance throughout the week, garnering the following distinctions:
- 1st Runner-Up – Non-Academic Events
- 2nd Runner-Up – Academic Events
- 2nd Runner-Up – Sports Events
These combined achievements led to CPU JPIA’s overall placement as 1st Runner-Up, highlighting the chapter’s balanced performance across multiple fields.
The Iloilo Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants officially announced the overall rankings on December 15, 2025, through its official Facebook page, confirming CPU JPIA’s strong showing during the celebration.
In a post following the announcement, CPU JPIA reflected on the journey behind the achievement, emphasizing perseverance, passion, and dedication despite academic demands and exhaustion. The post underscored how members balanced “deadlines, debits, and dreams,” showcasing that excellence goes beyond computations and is lived through courage, grit, and commitment to the accounting profession.
“This PICPA Week 2025, we didn’t just show up; we stood up,” the organization shared, recognizing the efforts of all participants who represented the University with pride, honor, and heart. The message further highlighted that true success is measured not only by numbers but by strength of character and love for the profession.
The achievement of CPU JPIA reaffirms Central Philippine University’s commitment to developing well-rounded future professionals and stands as a testament to the resilience and excellence of its accountancy students in regional competitions.
