Mrs. Donna Framo Demasiado is a former teacher of the CPU Elementary School.
The outright grant-in-aid named: MRS. PRAXEDES BETITA FRAMO MEMORIAL GRANT- IN-AID FOR THE COLLEGE OF NURSING was established by the three sons of former CPU Elementary School teacher, Mrs. Donna Framo Demasiado, namely Jan Merck, Feb Ray and Dember Lex, in memory of their grandmother, Praxedes Betita Framo, a graduate of Iloilo Mission Hospital School of Nursing Class 1950. This is their way of paying forward to what their grandmother had done in their lives.
Two slots of the grant-in-aid will be available per school year and this will be for the next three school years, from School Year 2021-2022 until School Year 2023 – 2024.
The grant-in-aid is open to all incoming fourth-year College of Nursing students who have academic promise and in financial need. Applicants should be members of any Baptist church.
The criteria for the selection of the recipient are Scholarship – 40.0%; Economic need – 40.0%; and Character – 20.0%, a total of 100.0%.
The grant is ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) per semester or a total of twenty thousand pesos (P20,000.00) for the whole school year. It could be used to pay off the miscellaneous fees of the recipient.
The Student Development and Programs Office of the University will take charge of the screening of the applicants.
