Rev. Dr. Cris V. Amorsolo Sian delivered a short devotional during the Prayer Breakfast.

Last August 2, 2025, the recipients of the God’s Grace Program for the First Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 gathered for a meaningful Prayer Breakfast held at the CPU Kidzone Center. They were joined by the University Church Pastors, the University Church Board of Deacons, and the God’s Grace Program Committee in a spirit of gratitude, unity, and fellowship.

The event began with a vibrant time of praise and worship led by Pastor Louvel Edson L. Caspe, setting a reverent and joyful atmosphere. This was followed by an inspiring short devotional shared by Rev. Dr. Cris V. Amorsolo Sian, who reminded everyone of the importance of faith, gratitude, and stewardship in the journey of both academic and spiritual growth.

The University Church Board of Deacons and God’s Grace Program Committee joined the Recipients during the group sharing session.

After the devotional, the recipients were divided into 11 groups, each assigned to a member of the present committee or the University Church Board of Deacons. These group sessions allowed for deeper fellowship, sharing of personal stories, and lifting up of prayer intentions. It was a time of connection and encouragement, as students had the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and receive spiritual support from mentors and leaders.

Following the group sessions, Ms. Joan Castor, Secretary of the God’s Grace Program Committee, facilitated the election of new officers among the student recipients. This leadership initiative aimed to empower students to take active roles in the program’s ongoing activities. Important announcements regarding the program’s updates, schedules, and upcoming opportunities were also shared.

God’s Grace recipients enjoyed the complimentary meal generously provided by the donors.

The morning concluded with a hearty and bountiful breakfast, graciously provided by the University Church and by Mrs. Angeles and Dr. Teodoro Robles. It was a joyful time of shared meals and continued conversations, fostering a stronger sense of community among everyone present.

The Prayer Breakfast served not only as a time of spiritual nourishment and fellowship but also as a reaffirmation of the program’s mission—to support students not only financially, but also emotionally and spiritually, as they pursue their academic journey with faith and excellence.
