The Internal Quality Audit Team meeting, presided over by Ms. Novi B. Pascua, brings together CPU officials and staff from various units to evaluate findings and establish common ground for quality enhancement.
The Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team of Central Philippine University conducted its meeting on August 28, 2025, at the University Research Center (URC) Conference Room to evaluate audit findings and agree on measures that will strengthen the university’s quality management system.
The meeting was presided over by Ms. Novi B. Pascua, IQA Lead Auditor, with the active participation of representatives from different academic and administrative units. Attendees included Prof. Rhea Joy Fernandez, Librarian of the Elementary School; Prof. Janet P. Jaco, Principal of the Elementary School; Prof. Jazel May D. Juntoria, Secretary of the Office of Institutional Advancement; Ms. Joan Castor, Secretary of the Office of the President; Prof. Lennon Pajar, Officer-in-Charge of the University Computer Service Center; Ms. Rowena Siastres, Secretary of the Retirement Office; Atty. Nestle Taala of the Student Recruitment Office under the Office of Institutional Advancement; and Miss Abigail Vilches, Assistant Principal of the Senior High School.
Dr. Dimpna C. Castigador, Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement, was also present to lend moral support and to offer insights aimed at improving the internal audit process.
This year’s IQA tagline, “Every audit counts, every auditor matters,” reflects the shared commitment of the audit team to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the university.
