Groove on Stage: Theater on the Move! Apprentices give their all on stage, celebrating the culmination of a month-long training with stunning performances that capture the true spirit of theater.
On November 26, 2024, CPU Teatro, Sining, Atbp. (TSA) held its much-anticipated Apprentice Day 2024, an annual tradition that showcases the hard work and dedication of aspiring members. This year’s theme, “Groove on Stage: Theater on the Move,” paid homage to the vibrant performance styles from the 1960s to the present, bringing the stage to life with colorful acts and dynamic energy.
Out of 33 auditioning aspirants, nine apprentices successfully completed the month-long training, overcoming challenges such as limited rehearsal spaces and conflicting schedules. Their journey highlighted not only their commitment but also their superb time management skills and passion for the arts.
Each apprentice performed a solo number, followed by a group performance that brought together their collective talents. Senior members of TSA mentored the apprentices, guiding them throughout the process. The event concluded with a grand finale dance number, where both apprentices and senior members performed together, symbolizing unity and camaraderie.
After the final performance, the nine successful apprentices were officially inducted into the TSA guild. Mrs. Rouella Cheyenne C. Aberia, the organization’s adviser, remarked on the significance of the event, saying, “It’s a part of our recruitment activity and member enhancement.”
