Fontiveros during the World Championships of the Performing Arts in Long Beach, California.

Franz Rica Jean Fontiveros, a BSBA major in Business Management 2019 graduate represented Team Philippines in the Acting Division during the World Championships of the Performing Arts last July 12-21, 2019 at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center, Long Beach, California, USA.

Fontiveros participated in the Comical, Drama and Television categories for the Acting Division.

“WCOPA was a tough journey, but it was a fulfilling experience. I was able to meet friends from different parts of the world. I would like to thank all my friends and sponsors for supporting me. Most of all, I am deeply grateful to God for He gave me this wonderful opportunity,” Fontiveros said.

Fontiveros also got invitational go-sees from Roger Delpozo, the Associate Director for Outreach – New York campus of the New York Film Academy and Joy Rinaldi, a Hollywood coach.

World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) is an Olympic-style international meet for aspiring singers, musicians, dancers, variety artists, actors and models. Contestants from over 60 countries join the said competition each year.
