During the RSTW VI 2025 RAISE Tech Ventures held at Robinsons Roxas City on September 10, 2025, Engr. Gelvie C. Lagos of HEX Technology, a CPUGAD TBI spin-off, clinched the championship with GROWT, his IoT-powered platform for smart and sustainable greenhouse farming.

A big win for innovation, sustainability, and incubation success!

From the stage of Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) VI 2025 in Roxas City, Capiz, to the spotlight of RAISE Tech Ventures at Robinsons Roxas City on September 10, 2025, Engr. Gelvie C. Lagos, CEO & Founder of HEX Technology and Project Leader of CPUGAD TBI, emerged as Champion, pitching GROWT (Greenhouse Remote Optimization with Wireless Technologies).

GROWT is an IoT-powered platform designed to transform greenhouse farming into a smart, automated, and sustainable system. By enabling farmers to monitor and control temperature, humidity, and soil conditions remotely, it delivers smarter harvests with fewer resources— paving the way for resilient and technology-driven agriculture.

As the Project Leader of CPUGAD TBI, Engr. Lagos is walking the talk—turning nesting ideas into incubated successes. His victory is a testament to how business incubation sparks innovation that can take flight and create lasting impact.

This breakthrough was first deployed at Panudlak Farm, an enterprise incubatee of CPUGAD TBI owned by Mr. Revie Palmejar, a Young Farmers Challenge Champion. With the support of partners HEX Technology and RenDewTech, Panudlak Farm became the pioneering ground where GROWT demonstrated its capacity to scale sustainable and tech-driven agriculture across Western Visayas.

This achievement strengthens the shared vision of CPUGAD TBI and its partners: to build a future where innovation, collaboration, and sustainability empower communities from the ground up.

Meanwhile, HEX Technology is also showcasing its innovations at the RSTW VI Exhibit in Robinsons Roxas City, alongside fellow CPUGAD TBI startups, ArticuLit and Kuray Innovations, further highlighting the growing ecosystem of innovation nurtured by CPU.
