Donated children’s storybooks collected for the English Elites Organization’s Book Donation Drive, supporting literacy and learning through community outreach.
In line with its commitment to community service and literacy development, the English Elites Organization has officially launched a Book Donation Drive in preparation for its upcoming outreach program, Brew and Bookdrive, scheduled on February 6, 2026, at Ajuy Elementary School. The initiative invites members of the Central Philippine University community to contribute children’s storybooks that will be shared with young learners, aiming to cultivate a love for reading and learning at an early age.
The book drive will run from January 26 to January 30, with donations to be dropped off at the OV Building, where a designated donation box is located below the English Elites Bulletin Board. The organization is accepting children’s storybooks suitable for the elementary level, including fairy tales, folktales, picture books, and short story collections that are both age-appropriate and engaging.
According to the organization, the donated books will play a vital role in supporting the outreach program by providing children with meaningful learning resources. Through access to storybooks, young readers are encouraged to explore their imagination, develop language skills, and build confidence in reading—key foundations for their academic and personal growth.
The English Elites Organization encourages students, faculty members, and staff to participate in the initiative, emphasizing that every donated book has the potential to make a difference. By sharing stories and knowledge, the organization hopes to inspire children and remind the community that simple acts of generosity can leave a lasting impact.
