Dr. Salistre officially assumed office on August 5. He said, “This responsibility is a greater challenge on my part, and I do pray to God to help me in this endeavor. I also believe that God has bestowed me with this position to be the second university president of this university.”
Before becoming the newly elected president of ISAT U, he was the Vice President for Administration and Finance from 2017 to 2023 and an Associate Professor V of the same university. He is a Doctor of Industrial Technology.

After that, I became a member of the Agape Campus Crusade,” Dr. Salistre candidly shared.
The ISAT U has five (5) campuses namely in, Iloilo City, Miag-ao, Barotac Nuevo, Dumangas, and Leon. With this in mind, he said that his pressing challenge at the moment is to sustain the performance of the university in terms of academic programs. “We have a lot of accomplishments in the university in quite a period in the previous university president Dr. Muyong. So, the challenge that lies in these is how to maintain and how to level up the accomplishment of the university in responding to the need for quality education.”
Dr. Salistre marked his first official day by attending the flag-raising ceremony and the Executive Committee meeting on August 7.
We congratulate you, Dr. Salistre! To God be the glory!
