Dr. Necil C. Magno, BPED Coordinator CPU, is among the Top Ten Outstanding Global Educators for the Book Authors Category and sa Larang ng Inobasyon, in the Search for Huwarang Guro Award 2022. The Award was given on June 25, 2022 at the Century Hotel, Angeles City, Pampanga. Dr. Necil C. Magno has authored several Physical Fitness, Wellness, Dance and Sports manuals.

She has previously reaped several global awards of excellence in teaching and innovation. “I am proud first of all, for CPU’s Exemplary Christian Education for Life”, with which I have been molded and nurtured to be the best version of myself. Central Philippine University is true to her mission and vision in developing and nurturing the potential of her graduates by providing excellence and quality Christian Education that can be seen among her alumni.” She added that I am blessed to receive these awards for my hard work, perseverance and determination.

This time she received the following awards: Outstanding Global Educator Module Writer Category (Rank 1); Outstanding Proficient Educator (Rank 4); Outstanding Global Educators Book Author (Rank 4) Huwarang Guro sa Larang ng Inobasyon (Rank 2).

She thanked the Beyond Books Publication and the organizers of Global Leaders and Educators Awards, headed by Dr. Leonilo B Capulso for the recognitions. “I am very grateful for my parents and my mentors-my second parents: Jayna Acap, Evangeline Bajador Ybanez , Janet Paguntalan Jaco, Anita Illenberger, Humar Aberia, Rosario Sanico, Maridel Ambos, Cecilia Jumayao Somodio and Mauro Somodio; our beloved University President Dr. Teodoro C. Robles and Central Philippine University.

“I dedicate these awards to my children Princess Sheane, Prince Sherwin, Prince Nesher, my husband Sherwin and to my parents. You are all the source of my strength and motivation,” Magno said. Also, she offers these awards to her mentors and teachers who molded and helped her to be the best educator she can be.

Magno expressed gratefulness to the Lord who she said, is the source of everything. “The goodness of the Lord is overwhelming and forever.” She added that, “I thought I won’t make it, but God is so good and great always and forever.” She shared an inspirational verse from Isaiah 41: 10 which says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
