Dr. Lenny Rose P. Mucho receives the Certificate of Commendation from DILG.

Central Philippine University was awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Department of Interior and Local Government for its commitment, active participation, and strong support in the operationalization, and effective implementation of the various programs, projects, and activities of the Western Visayas Local Governance Resource Consortium for the years 2013 up to the present.

The commendation was given on March 22, 2022 on the occasion of the 2022 World Water Day Celebration in Iloilo City. It was signed by Juan Jovian E. Ingeniero, CESO IV, Regional Director, DILG VI, Interim Chairperson, WVLGRC Coordinating Council. Dr. Lenny Rose P. Mucho, CPU RCEC Director.

A Memorandum of Agreement reconstituting the Western Visayas Local Governance Resource Consortium (WVLGRC) was signed between Central Philippine University represented by University President. Dr. Teodoro C. Robles and the University of San Agustin as represented by Rev. Fr. Frederick C. Comendador, OSA.
