CPU SHS and JHS take home the champion title at ILOPRISAA Prisaayawan 2026, a result of hard work, determination, and shared commitment to bring prestige to Central Philippine University.

The Central Philippine University Senior High School (CPUSHS) and Junior High School (JHS) dance troupe achieved a momentous victory at the ILOPRISAA Prisaayawan 2026 Competition on February 19, 2026, at Hua Siong College of Iloilo Ledesco Campus, bringing distinct honor as champions to their Alma Mater and departments.

The journey to the gold began with a highly competitive audition that took place on November 24-25, 2025, at the JHS Building. Under the meticulous direction of Coach AJ Piosca, a select group of twelve student performers was chosen from the Junior and Senior High School Departments. The championship roster included NJ Banzale, Kiceal France Margallo, Jayzie Kiel Lupo, Jopeseane Yamuyam, Kate Tan, Venice Peñafiel, Charlaine Medianesta, Raven Sitjar, Zachary De La Torre, and Jjan Tubongbanua.

The team’s rendition of ‘Fein’ by Travis Scott was characterized by high-level choreography that necessitated immense technical skills and stamina. Beyond the physical execution, the dancers’ success was anchored in mutual trust and a rigorous training regimen. “Our victory was not just a win for ourselves but a proud moment for Central Philippine University,” team leader NJ Banzale noted, attributing the triumph to countless hours of practice and a shared commitment to represent the institution with excellence.

The team expressed profound gratitude to God for His divine guidance throughout their preparation and performance, citing that their success was a culmination of hard work, determination, and the unwavering support of the Centralian family.

By securing the top spot in the ILOPRISAA 2026, these student-athletes have brought prestige to their respective departments and established a high standard for future artistic representations of the university.
