The Central Philippine University Republic (CPUR), through the Ministry for Organizations and Fraternities, successfully conducted the Voluntary Leadership Training Seminar for Recognized Organizations and Fraternities on November 28, 2025, in partnership with the CPUR AGALON Mother Organization. The whole-day event—held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—aimed to strengthen leadership competencies and foster unity among the university’s diverse student organizations.

The program was spearheaded by the Ministry of Organizations and Fraternities, with Representative Julienne Patricia Delgado as the Chairperson, together with Senator Ma. Theresa Magbanua as Co-Chair. The CPUR AGALON Mother Organization, led by Chairman Railyn Jeffe Alcarde, co-facilitated the event and contributed to the seminar’s program and logistics.

The morning session featured two distinguished guest speakers. Asst. Prof. Johanna Faith Candido delivered an in-depth discussion on Human Behavior in Organization Management, emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and ethical leadership in student-led environments. Her talk highlighted how understanding human dynamics within organizations directly influences performance, culture, and long-term impact.

Following this, Director Ma. Josefa Sarate presented a comprehensive lecture on Networking and Relationship Building. She underscored the value of strategic communication, collaboration, and maintaining professional relationships—skills essential for student leaders tasked with representing their organizations and fostering partnerships within and beyond the university.

In the afternoon, participants engaged in a dynamic team-building activity, which ran until 5:00 p.m. The activities were designed to enhance teamwork, problem-solving skills, and camaraderie among officers of recognized organizations and fraternities. The outdoor challenges and guided group tasks encouraged participants to apply the leadership principles they learned earlier in the day.

The successful conduct of the CPUR Voluntary Leadership Training Seminar reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to developing competent, service-driven student leaders. By equipping organization officers with practical knowledge and meaningful experiences, CPUR continues to cultivate a culture of collaboration and transformative leadership within the Centralian community.
