Rev. Cris Amorsolo V. Sian, Senior Pastor of the University Church, led a prayer for the 59 completers during the CPUK Completion Ceremony for the Class of 2025.

On April 15, 2025, the Central Philippine University – Kindergarten (CPUK) held its Completion Ceremony for the Class of 2025. The event was attended by parents, teachers, school officials, and completers which took place at the Rose Memorial Auditorium.

The ceremony opened with a processional, followed by a prayer led by Kari Zemirah F. Fabila. Francis Simon D. Surban conducted the Philippine National Anthem, and Zeah Z. Baylon delivered the opening remarks. Dr. Irving Domingo L. Rio, CPU Vice President for Academic Affairs, then extended his greetings and message.

“Children, your parents and teachers will help you make your dreams come true. Study hard and keep smiling because the world is full of surprises waiting for you,” he said. He also reminded the completers to obey their parents and teachers, as they know what’s best for them and will guide them toward success in the future.

Lucas E. Mortel, one of the completers, delivered an inspiring speech on behalf of his fellow completers.

The presentation of completers was led by CPUK Principal, Prof. Praise E. Glory, followed by the official approval and confirmation by CPU Vice President for Finance and Enterprises, Dr. Florence P. Bogacia. A total of fifty-nine (59) kindergarten pupils were confirmed as completers for School Year 2024–2025. The distribution of certificates then followed.

In a speech on behalf of the completers, Lucas E. Mortel expressed heartfelt gratitude to their teachers, parents, and school administrators for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout the school year. “Today is a day filled with smiles, cheers, and perhaps even a few tears, as we say goodbye to our kindergarten journey and prepare to embark on a new adventure,” he said. He also recalled the many memorable moments they shared, from learning new things to building lasting friendships, and expressed excitement for the next chapter of their educational journey.

After the speech, the completers performed their rendition of the song “Stand in the Light.” Rev. Cris Amorsolo V. Sian, Senior Pastor of the University Church, then led a prayer, followed by the presentation of the University Core Values by the completers. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the CPU Alma Mater Song and the recessional.
