Two students from National Institute of Technology – Sasebo College, CPU’s partner school in Japan, were welcomed by the CPU community upon their arrival on August 22, 2023.
Welcoming Ami and Hinata were Dr. Florence P. Bogacia (Vice President for Finance and Administration and the Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the President), Engr. Dany C. Molina (Dean College of Engineering), Prof. Kay Arden Q. Gallo (Director of the Local and International Linkages and Affiliations Center), Engr. Christsam Joy Jaspe (Engineering teacher), and Ms. Jeselle Kayla Articulo (English teacher), and the four Engineering students who will also serve as their guide on the duration of their stay in Iloilo City and CPU.

Ami and Hinata are in CPU for the implementation of a fully funded program sponsored by the government of Japan. CPU’s College of Engineering will also send four students to NIT-Sasebo College for an immersion program also funded by the government of Japan.
