Reigning Miss CPU 2023 Regine Claude Romero will represent WVPrisaa in the National Level on July 2023.

Another crown; another win for CPU—Reigning Miss Central Philippine University 2023, Ms. Regine Romero taking up Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science – 2, was crowned as Mutya ng Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association during the competition held on May 18, 2023 at the University of San Agustin Auditorium.

Five provinces competed in the said beauty pageant. With her win, Ms. Romero will represent the WVPRISAA in the national level competition in July 2023.

Aside from bringing home the Mutya crown, Mico Hechanova and Aleia Muyco, both from the CPU Senior High School also emerged champions in the Dancesport — Latin Category, hence will also be representing WVPRISAA in a national level Dancesport competition.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dan Pornel and Ms. Camille Cabrera from the CPU College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) represented CPU in the Duet Contest Regional Meet and won 2nd runner-up.

The CPU Golden Lions teams have reaped several trophies and gold medals in all other events during the WVPRISAA (Please see separate article under this issue entitled “UPDATES: CPU Golden Lions at WVPRISAA MEET 2023” for more details on sports events).
