On March 26, 2026, CPU will celebrate the groundbreaking of the new College of Law and Medicine Building, joined by invited guests and members of the Centralian community, as it marks the start of a state-of-the-art facility to support learning, training, and professional growth.

Central Philippine University will hold a Groundbreaking Ceremony on March 26, 2026, 9:00 AM, at the CPU Softball Field for the College of Law and Medicine Building.

The ceremony marks the start of construction for a multi-storey, state-of-the-art building complex that will be shared by the College of Law and College of Medicine. The new facility is designed to provide enhanced spaces for learning, training, and service, supporting the academic and professional development of students in both colleges.

The groundbreaking is part of Central Philippine University’s Resource Generation Campaign: “Together We Build: A Journey Toward Excellence,” officially launched on June 26, 2025, at the Henry Luce III Library Conference Room. The campaign underscores CPU’s faith-driven mission to expand academic facilities and reflects the institution’s enduring commitment to quality Christian education.

As law students currently share classrooms with the Senior High School department, and Medicine students face challenges due to the lack of dedicated laboratories and research areas, there is a need for new facilities for the said colleges. The proposed building seeks to address these issues by providing state-of-the-art laboratories, moot courts, simulation rooms, and collaborative learning spaces designed to enhance professional training.
